Modbus
The modbus node-type uses libmodbus to communicate to devices via Modbus over the RTU or TCP transports.
Prerequisites
This node-type requires libmodbus (>= 3.1.0).
Implementation
The source code of the node-type is available here: https://github.com/VILLASframework/node/blob/master/lib/nodes/modbus.cpp
Configuration
| remote required | string The hostname or IP of the Modbus TCP device. |
| port | integer Default: 1883 The port number of the Modbus TCP device. |
| unit | integer [ 0 .. 65535 ] The addressed unit used for serial communication. This is optional for TCP. |
Example
{- "remote": "example.com",
- "port": 1883,
- "unit": 1,
- "transport": "tcp"
}Example
